About me

Well hello, my name is Noël, I was born in I do not know what year, but I do know the day! Humans call it 'Christmas,' a happy day you'd think.
Some say I am lucky, but I don't think so.
You see these prosthetic legs and part of my tail? Yeah, I have been in an accident. I won't tell about that in detail, but it was an accident.
I ended up getting taken in by this nice human doctor and he gave me these legs and tail. He made them just for me. He was such a nice dude. I am really grateful to be here because of him.

My prosthetics

It all started with some wooden prosthetics, but I could not walk on those and I was basically just a worm.
Purely aesthetical they were.
After some trial and error making new prosthetics, Doc made me some weird metal prosthetics. I think they were infused with some stone or ore. I don't know. They were glowing green and blue light from some cracks!
After trying them on, they fit like they were meant to be my new legs, but I still could not walk obviously. I wanted to just stay a worm, but the Doc insisted on me keeping the legs on.
I could not understand why, until I got that sensation of having some feeling in my tail. I was sure I was going nuts, but the sensation of being able to feel, gradually became more and more.
I started to feel my upper legs, my lower legs, my feet. I started to get feeling in the prosthetics?

Walking again

Then a miracle happened, slowly I was able to move the prosthetic limbs. How could this happen? Is this even possible?
It started with my toes, then my joints, my tail and then the rest of my legs. Doc built me a weird structure that could roll and support me. I tried walking using that weird thing. I took my first steps again, I felt reborn!
Everytime I felt like I could walk a bit better, Doc adjusted the machine so I would have to support my own weight a bit more. After some time I tried getting up without the machine, it was difficult, but I did it! I took my first independent steps and Doc was so proud of me.
I could walk again? I could walk again!

The prosthetics were worn out, I got new ones and these won't ever wear out, that's what Doc said to me!
